Not another Story Part 2

Title 2

After a few moments of silence proceeding Sally’s statement, The Scruffy Detective finally spoke up:
“Well.” He said, breaking the silence “We’ll just post new robots here and alert the Eggman about this predicament. However, we’ll need to up the security so we can at least get a clean look at his face and know what we’re dealing with.”
“Very well.” Sally said skolling the last of her nondescript drink “I’ll inform the Eggman and see if we can get some pros onto the case. And I’m aware I just said you weren’t a pro.”
The Scruffy lowered his head in shame and shuffled off the scene. Sally looked at the crime scene and noticed an ID in one of the Robots’ Hands. Sally picked it up and, with great difficulty, slid it into her skin-tight black Eggman pants’ pocket.
“Dooshebeagle…” Sally Muttered to herself.

At another sector of Town, Neceron was Wandering the streets, familiarising himself with the surroundings.
“God Damned.” Neceron thought to himself “No-one in the streets, patrolling robots and Blue Graffiti on every second building. Why does it seem so familiar?”
A Loud Yelp came from behind a building
“Gasp!” Neceron said aloud, just for a giggle “Sounds like an actual Live person over there! Maybe They can tell me what’s going on around here.”
Neceron Briskly Walked behind the building and noticed a Robot bearing down on a small furry thing.
“Bah.” Neceron thought “Just a dog. Forget it.”
“HELP ME, MISTER!!” a Voice yelled
Neceron quickly turned around “Holy Crap, it’s a GUY!” Neceron Yelled, Getting the Robot’s Attention
“Drop your Weapons,” The Robot said Aloud “you have fifteen seconds to comp-” Neceron Jumped in quickly and landed a kick to the Robot’s head, busting it off
“No Movie quotes that I can’t reference on MY Watch!” Neceron said to the remains of the robot.
“Thank you, Mister!” The Furry thing said, standing up.
Neceron realised this thing was roughly half his height and immediately recognised what this was all about
“Oi, mate.” Neceron said “Where exactly Am I?”
“oh.” Replied the thing “This is Eggmanland. Where Eggman Reigns.”
“Eggman?” Neceron thought aloud “…Wait… How long as Eggman ruled here?”
“Roughly eight years.”
Though his face was covered, you could tell Neceron’s Jaw had dropped and his eyes had widened. “EIGHT YEARS?!” Neceron Screamed. “SHOULD SONIC’VE SHOWN UP BY NOW?!”
Shortly Afterwards, the feint sound of sobbing could be heard from each house.
“Sonic hasn’t shown up all these years.” The Thing said, teary-eyed
“Oh yeah, of course…” Neceron said “that’s where he’d be.”
The Things eyes lit up and he grabbed Neceron by his belt “YOU KNOW WHERE SONIC IS?!” He yelled with glee
“Yeah.” Neceron said pushing the thing off his belt “He’s either at the Olympics or Fighting at the subspace emissary or something like that.”
The Thing looked at Neceron, utterly confused.
“Oh right…” Neceron Thought “The Fourth Wall. Gotta be weary of that.”
Neceron Sighed “Nevermind, man. I thought I knew.”
“Well anyways.” Said the thing “My order could use someone of your skill. Follow me!”
Neceron began to follow the thing “So, what is your Order?”
“The Rebels.” Said the thing with a glimmer in his eye
“So you guys are trying to Usurp Eggman and his reign?” Neceron questioned
“Correct”
“You guys must really suck at it, because you’ve been going at it for what? Eight years?” Neceron said with a slight chuckle
The Thing turned around “Listen here, Stranger! You may be skilled but no-one disses the Rebellion! We’re waiting for Sonic to show up for the final plan to go into effect!”
“You’re WAITING for Sonic?” Neceron Continued to Walk “One helluva Rebellion. You wait for a hero to rise up. Anyways, no more of this. I’ll discuss this further with your leader. Bring me to him.”
“Her.” The Thing said, taking the lead.
“A Woman? Leading? This just keeps getting better and better.” Neceron said trying to hold in his laughter.
